If you have an activity currently paused, but active, the scale will not sync with your watch! Important: Ensure your latest activity is cleared and saved (hold down reset).Using the scale with your Forerunner is simple:
USING GARMIN USB ANT STICK SOFTWARE
The scale measures weight, body fat and hydration levels. Transfer workout data seamlessly to our free web-based community or Training Center with this USB ANT Stick.Simply plug the stick into your computers USB. I've got a Garmin usb ant+ stick, and wanted to see how the bkool software works - it doesnt seem to pick up the ant+ stick though, does it need a special make/model that isnt Garmin Does the software work without the bkool trainer (is it worth it) Im using a pc with windows 8.1 to try this. One of my favorite features of the 610 is the ability to wirelessly sync with the Tanita BC-1000 scale. USING THE FORERUNNER 610 WITH A TANITA SCALE Any failure to transfer to Garmin Connect can cause issues with syncing.
USING GARMIN USB ANT STICK SERIAL
The nRF24AP1 transceiver IC is capable of talking to various wireless products that utilize the ANT protocol such as heart rate straps, bicycle computers, tachometers, and more! The nRF24AP1 is a combination of the nRF2401A with a masked in protocol called 'ANT' and a simple to use serial interface. This unit is great for developing hardware using the ANT protocol and through an easy USB connection. By using the popular FTDI COM Port Drivers, all one needs to do is plug the device into a USB hub on the computer and they instanly can send and receive data to and from the nRF24AP1 module. The USB ANT Stick enables an easy connection to the Nordic nRF24AP1. We have no direct replacement for this part but check out the rest of our Nordic wireless category.
